At least one path down Hinckley Road should be even enough and wide enough for all pedestrians to travel safely. This includes people old and young with poor balance, parents with double buggies etc. Ideally footpaths on both sides of the road should be of equal good standard.
Pedestrian crossings would allow safe passage across the road.
