To whoever reads these comments and makes decisions to take forwards: Don't look at the map - actually go to J22 and try walking (or cycling) from Altar Stones Ln to Little Shaw Ln. It is a complete and utter death trap!
This Junction effectively cuts off any form of non-motorised travel between Markfield and Bardon/Coalville. Safe crossings are required.
