View of the Hollow, Earl Shilton, now much quieter since the village was bypassed.

There's surely lots of opportunity now for changes here to make a more pedestrian and cycle friendly environment:
20 mph limit
Wider pavements
Much smaller turning radii at junctions
Get rid of the traffic lights!
