Hydes Lane off the A5 This section is metalled and leads to a bridleway that has a compacted surface but is a bit muddy in place.
A little bit of filtered permeability with the recent housing development. There's a bollard and a dropped kerb.
Two waves of bollards a badly placed lighting column and overgrown bushes all serve to slow down your approach to the A5.
Bizarre bollards down the middle of the road very near to a lorry distribution park, and massive rocks presumably to stop overrunning of the verges?
Tudor Road, Hinckley There's a footway cycleway on the right. See #99848 Many of the gardens have been converted into car storage areas, and I saw cars parked fully on the footway.
Desford Lane a bit of fast traffic and the occasional heavy lorry when we went through on a Tuesday morning, pleased to turn off here onto a quieter road.
